Thank you so much for traveling to Indianapolis to celebrate our wedding with us. We know that traveling and navigating the traffic isn’t easy, and we are so grateful that you chose to spend this special time with us. Your love and support will make our wedding weekend unforgettable.

Camping in the Coke Lot - Thursday, May 21, 2026 through Monday, May 25, 2026

Camping at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an event within itself. Friends and families come together for some of the world's premier events in motorsports. Join us this season to find out what the experience is all about!

Join Bert and Kara as they celebrate their marriage during their favorite weekend of the year! Bert and Kara along with friends and family will campout in the Coke Lot (Lot C). Feel free to join us for one night or all nights! We have several camping slots reserved. Please reach out to one of us for more details!

Carb Day - Friday, May 22, 2026

It’s racing. It’s rock ‘n roll. It’s pure bliss. Miller Lite Carb Day is the ultimate turbo boost into the greatest weekend in racing! This high-octane party features some of the most exciting action on (and off) the track as the world revs its engines for the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Catch the unforgettable action that includes final practice for the Indy 500, the annual Pit Stop Competition and an epic concert featuring some of your favorite throwback artists.

Indianapolis 500 Parade - Saturday, May 23, 2026

The 500 Festival Parade, one of the original 500 Festival events, ranks among the nation’s most prominent parades, receiving national recognition amongst the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Over 200,000 spectators will line the streets of downtown Indianapolis to witness the extravagant floats, enormous helium balloons, renowned figures, esteemed guests, top-notch bands, and all 33 Indy 500 drivers in action.Mark your calendars for the 2026 500 Festival Parade, set to take place on Saturday, May 23, in downtown Indianapolis. Festivities kick off at 11:45 am, and the parade begins at noon.

Legends Day - Saturday, May 23, 2026

The day before the Indy 500 is going to be a fun one! Get access to the star drivers of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with the full field autograph session and the Public Drivers' Meeting as drivers receive their final instructions before Race Day. Plus, your favorite Indy 500 veterans will have an autograph session of their own!

Camping

Bring your camper or a tent and join us for a massive party in the Coke Lot! We have multiple campsites reserved from Thursday, May 21 to Monday, May 25 that will hold several RVs and tents. Join for as many nights as you'd like. Refer to the Things to Do tab for more deets.

Hotels

There are several options and locations for hotels. Plan to book as early as possible because hotels do sell out quickly. We do not have a block of rooms reserved at any hotel. Feel free to stay where you'd like but don't forget to join us at the Coke Lot for some partying!

Accommodations

If you are planning to camp with us you will have a parking spot reserved at the campsite.

Parking for the day of

We have reserve parking. Parking passes and directions will be sent along with your tickets. Please let Bert or Kara know if you would like a pass.

Race Day Transportation - Shuttle Service

IMS offers round-trip shuttle services from two locations, downtown Indianapolis and the airport. For guest staying near either area we recommend using this service for easy and fast access.
